- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally charge $75/hour based on location. This rate will go down if further time is needed or I will set a price for a larger project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I highly suggest a telephone conversation followed by a consultation at the location of the project. Sometimes further time is needed and if so, I will then bid for the remainder of the project. (Whether it be for researching color, tile, countertops, art, accessories, manufacture window treatments...etc. based on needs of the client.)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Lead Designer at a Home Decorating store called Savvy Spaces where I worked with people in the store and in-home consulting on color, furniture, artwork and accessories. Prior experience included (but not limited to) Management of a furniture and home furnishing store and work with a furniture distributor both in Minnesota and Texas. 30 years of decorating and client home projects. Continued research and classes keep ideas fresh!
