Carbonara String Studio

Introduction: Dave Carbonara is a highly sought-after cello and bass instructor. He has a B.M. and M.M. from the Juilliard School in double bass performance and has taught electric and upright bass at all levels, including college. Dave is also a Suzuki trained cello instructor and received his Suzuki method training from the Preucil School of Music and the Ottawa Kansas Suzuki Institute. He teaches beginner through high school-level cello. Teaching locations include South Minneapolis, Uptown Minneapolis and St. Paul. Dave was on the 2013 faculty of the Lutheran Summer Music Academy and Festival at Luther College. He often coaches sectionals for Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies. Dave runs two string programs in the Twin Cities with his violinist wife and also freelances in the area performing weddings, recitals, concerts, musicals, and with various orchestras.
