My bathroom layout and the old finishes were really bad. The previous owner had tried to turn one full bath into a full bath plus a half bath, but the setup made no sense for everyday use. To get into the main bathroom, you had to walk through the half bath first. It felt like one oversized bathroom with two toilets split by basic drywall and a pocket door, and it did not look finished or functional. Since I was getting ready to sell the house in Los Angeles, I wanted a bathroom remodel that looked clean, updated, and more practical without going way over budget. I already had a solid idea of what needed to be changed to improve the layout, refresh the materials, and make the space more appealing to buyers while keeping costs under control. I spoke with several remodelers and contractors about a near full bathroom renovation. A lot of them were nice and experienced, but most kept steering the conversation toward expensive upgrades and bigger construction plans that did not fit what I wanted. Then I found company: CustomCraft Contractors. Evan listened to my goals, respected my budget, and walked me through different remodeling options and pricing in a simple and helpful way. To help control costs and still get the style I wanted, I bought the main items myself, including the tub, vanity, faucets, flooring, wall tile, mirrors, and light fixtures, with helpful guidance on what would work best together. Once everything arrived, Evan, Jay, and Todd got started on the project and kept things moving smoothly. During the remodel, they uncovered rotted wood and an old cracked pipe, and they handled those repairs right away before finishing the new work. I appreciated being kept updated throughout the process, especially when hidden issues came up. They also used temporary floor protection in the hallway and nearby rooms, which was a big help, and they cleaned up well at the end of each day. The finished bathroom looks amazing now. The new layout makes much more sense, the materials look modern and bright, and the whole space feels more polished and functional. It ended up being a very smart home improvement for resale, and I only wish I had done this bathroom renovation sooner.

i can't say enough great things about our home remodeling experience. when we first started looking into updating our house in los angeles, i asked a friend for a recommendation. he was a very satisfied customer and gave me jay's contact information. after checking out their reviews, i was really impressed by how positive they were. we got our first quote from jays team and also talked to a couple of other remodeling companies. one of them had good reviews, but their representative left out a few important things from the estimate until i asked about them (jays team missed nothing). the other company said they needed to do extra work, which would have cost more, and when i decided not to hire them, they werent very professional about it. throughout the whole process, i never felt any pressure from jay and his crew. i later asked for a revised quote for a smaller kitchen and bathroom remodel, and they provided it right away, no problem. jays team gave me the best price and the strongest warranty out of all the quotes i received. i also liked that they have been around for a long time, so i feel confident they will stand by their work. they finished each part of the project ahead of schedule. todd and his crew completed the whole remodel in just a few days, and my family felt comfortable having them in our home. they even did some extra things, like repairing a few chipped tiles they found, repainting some trim to match perfectly, and giving us a detailed look at the condition of our roof and walls. they also left behind some extra materials and touch-up paint in case we need them later. i cant help but notice that my neighbors remodel with another company didnt include these kinds of finishing touches. the city inspection went smoothly, and i didnt even need to be home, which was super convenient. even at the end, once we got final approval, they went the extra mile. i was out of town when it was time for the final walkthrough, and evan made sure everything was working perfectly before we got back. he came out to check everything on a holiday just to make sure we could enjoy our updated home right away. from the first quote to the final walkthrough, this company was outstanding. their work is top quality and their communication is always clear and friendly. i would recommend them to anyone looking for home remodeling in los angeles. i really appreciate that most of their business comes from word of mouth referralsyou just cant go wrong with that.
