Humanities + Math

Introduction: I have a diverse educational background. I have an Associate of Science in Math/Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Literature. I have been both a regular classroom substitute and a substitute paraprofessional. At these positions, I gained invaluable experience in many facets of K-12 education. I have taught everything from kindergarten to high school. I even taught preschool several times. Moreover, at the high school level, I taught subjects as diverse as advanced algebra and classic literature, and down the educational ladder, I taught English and math in middle school. In elementary school, I taught math, language arts and reading numerous times, and even science once. I taught the staples of public school -- physical education, music, and art. I worked in special education with students suffering from a wide spectrum of disabilities. Moreover, I believe this valuable experience I gained will transfer nicely to private tutoring.
