Learning five instruments taught me how to be a beginner again and again. I know every frustrating wall you hit, every moment when it finally clicks, and how to guide you through both.
Whether you’re picking up your very first instrument or adding a new one, I understand the journey from the inside out. I work with kids, teens, and adults at every stage: beginners, intermediate players, and pros looking to polish their skills.
I also teach Amharic, and I’m one of the very few music teachers here who can work with Ethiopian families in their home language.

I have always wanted to learn how to play the guitar. Abe was an amazing teacher and helped me even when I got frustrated and wanted to give up on learning. He is patient and detail oriented. I would definitely recommend him if you’re looking for a new music teacher with years of experience!

I was nervous when I first picked up a Guitar. Abe helped me over come that fear and play my first song! He’s strict when it comes to staying on track because I get distracted easily but I have learned how to play a couple of songs and I never knew how to play before I started my classes!
