FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing reflects the level of detail, durability, and long-term value I build into each project. I focus on proper base preparation, grading, drainage correction, and quality materials so the work lasts — not just looks good for one season. For full landscape design and renovation projects, I offer a paid on-site consultation that is credited toward the project if you move forward. This allows us to spend real time evaluating layout, elevations, water flow, and overall design strategy. Every estimate is clear and itemized so you understand exactly what’s included. No surprise add-ons.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a conversation about what’s not working and what you’d like the space to feel like long term. From there, we schedule an on-site consultation to walk the property, evaluate grading and drainage, and discuss layout improvements, hardscape options, planting strategy, and overall flow. After that, I prepare a detailed proposal outlining scope, materials, timeline, and investment range. Once approved, we schedule the project and I remain closely involved through completion to ensure everything is executed properly. My goal is not just to “install landscaping,” but to improve how your outdoor space functions and feels.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 10 years of hands-on experience in landscape renovation and hardscape construction, specializing in grading, drainage correction, paver patio installation, lawn renovation, and planting design for Minnesota’s climate. My training is rooted in field experience — understanding soil conditions, proper base preparation, water management, and structural installation techniques that prevent settling and long-term failure. I continuously refine my process through real-world builds, equipment training, and staying current with modern landscape design and construction standards.
