Introduction: Jonathan Boe began teaching himself to cook at the age of ten. He continued his education at the prestigious culinary arts program at Johnson & Wales University and pursued his craft in Califonia's Bay Area, New York, Brooklyn and Paris. His knowledge and experience cover front and back of the house. He worked as a caterer and private chef and has fed some of New York's most exclusive clients. He was co-owner of Brooklyn cult favorite and beloved Ripple Bar and was managing partner/executive chef of Parisian styled Breukelen Brasserie. In 2012 Jonathan co-founded one of New York City's largest urban educational aquaponic farm. Oko Farms, located in Brooklyn's storied Bushwick neigborhood, teaches children and adults, residents and visitors viable and progressive urban farming methods with a focus on aquaponcs (the cultivation of vegetables and fish in one recirculating system). Jonathan returned to Minnesota 2020 with the goal of deepening his experience in farm to table dining and hospitality.
