Professional, talented and dedicated producers staff F5 Soundhouse. I couldn't have chosen a better facility and crew to put together my first full-length album. Bonus: Everyone there is a stellar musician. Highly recommended!Aug 9, 2018Verified

He's flexible about his role, will fit to your needs. Has past experience fronting bands. Feel like he knows the industry and has good ideas not just for making the music, but promoting it.May 10, 2017Verified

From the outset, F5 was friendly, enthusiastic, creative, and superlatively competent. As I laid out the difficulties of my project, they laid out solutions. Recording the Voice Over Talent, finding and creating the FX, and cooking it all down in the mix was easy, flawless, and fun. Their deep knowledge of sound and software transformed human error into sonic perfection. F5 SoundHouse met and exceeded all my expectations. The SoundHouse is a Powerhouse!Feb 6, 2017Verified

Owen Sartori at F5 SoundHouse helped my son, Isaak Thurber, learn some new tricks with his music production. It certainly helped Isaak and we will continue to go to Owen for advice and help with new music projects. Owen was very attentive and helpful in every way we had hoped!Sep 29, 2016

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Our pricing is straightforward and super-competetive, and can be seen on the rates page of the F5 SoundHouse website. That said, there is a lot that goes into making a radio-ready record, and a lot more that goes into getting ready for a successfully release. We consult with artists at no charge, so there's no pressure. Just a conversation to figure out how we can be most helpful to you and your career. In addition to the record production and mentorship, I personally do a select number of songwriting/guitar/voice students. Those lessons are done on an hourly basis, and might include demo recording or music business training. It's all about what the student needs most.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? It all starts with a meeting to find out how we work together. Email, phone or Skype are fine, meeting in person is obviously better!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? While also helping run the companies, I studied audio production and engineering and Pro Tools at both IPR and MMI in Minneapolis. My BA was completed in 1991. I've also been through the music "school of hard knocks." Landed a record deal, made the record, and the economy collapsed (and so did the labels). I learned a lot from that experience, and now, I bring that knowledge and experience to the studio every day.
