- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Of course! We are constantly taking the latest courses offered by various tour operators, cruise lines and resorts. Training is the most important aspect of our work.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Since I have my own young family at home I tend to get a lot of requests to book family vacations for family friends and their referrals. This is a part of the industry I am familiar with on a personal level due to my stage in life, and it is one that I am very excited about. There are just so many options that cater to families nowadays including cruises, Disney (of course!), all-inclusives, even overseas tours. I love the idea of teaching children to be good global citizens, and travel is the best way for them to learn!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Travel agents do not work because of the "perks" offered, we do it because we are passionate about travel! Our salary is 100% commission based.
