I took Alex's C1 class at Core Power Minnetonka one evening after teaching a yoga class myself and thoroughly enjoyed it! She provided excellent cues and gave wonderful hands on adjustments. Alex is passionate about providing her students with a positive experience by providing a safe and welcoming environment for students to learn and grow in their yoga practices.

I have taken classes and private lessons from Alex and I recommend her to everyone! We recently just asked her to do a private class at the beach for my daughter's soccer team. Alex did an excellent job working with 14yr olds. She is dedicated to her students and genuinely wants them to enjoy their journey. She offers options throughout the class and does a great job with adjustments. I highly recommend Alex, as a private, small group, and a class instructor!

Looking for a great introduction to yoga? Guidance to further your practice? Or do you simply enjoy great music during your practice? If any or all of the above apply, you must try a class with Alex. My 14-year-old daughter, who is a beginner, and I recently took a class with Alex. Her attention to proper form and guidance on how to get into poses was very helpful. I've been practicing daily for a just a few months and following Alex suggestions I was able to get into Crow pose, which I had been struggling with. Give Alex a try. You won't regret it.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Yes, I have completed 50 hours of continuing education in Power Yoga. I also must stay up to date because the classes I teach at CorePower Yoga require me to regularly come up with new and improved sequences and themes.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My advice, when looking for a yoga instructor, is to make sure you both understand exactly what you are hoping for as the student. Be honest and forward with him or her and ask plenty of questions.
