Great experience, highly recommend and will absolutely use again!! I had terrible results on my hardwood refinish from a previous contractor (pic provided) so I contacted Jenkins Custom Hardwood Floors and Don came out on a Sunday afternoon to give me a quote and worked me into the schedule just a few days later so the floors could be move-in ready by the weekend. Don and his crew refinished 1000 square feet of hardwood floors in a newly-purchased home. We moved to Columbus from out of town, and Don was great about communicating via email & text message for the quote and after beginning the work. He is so professional and pleasant to work with, which we really value. The service and materials were very fairly priced, and I really appreciated that Don and his crew worked over the weekend prior to our move-in date so that the floors were ready for our furniture & foot traffic. In addition, our floors couldn't look nicer! A significant stain in the old finish is now barely detectable, and they did a great job matching the new finish across the entire house (the stair treads and one room had different finishes from the rest of the house). We definitely recommend Jenkins Custom Hardwood Floors to other homeowners!

This guy told me he could refinish my hardwood floors. They looked terrible when finished and when I told him they looked terrible he didn't come out to look at them. I had to have a PROFESSIONAL come and fix what he messed up. Basically this guy took over $1000.00 of my hard earned money and he is a CROOK. DON'T HIRE THIS GUY. I wish there was zero stars...

While our hardwood floor refinishing was fair, our experience was lackluster. We hired Jenkins to redo our bottom floor hardwood floors and remove stair carpeting and refinish our stairs. Jenkins got behind due to other jobs and illness on their side and then rushed through our job. While Jenkins worked overtime to get our job done, interaction and work product felt and appear rushed. The replacement of our shoe molding is messy and it looks like some pieces didn’t end up where they were originally. Additionally, while Jenkins removed the carpet on our stairs, we were not originally told that he couldn’t do the risers (evidently requires a trim carpenter to complete) and the tread refinishing is poor. Tons of staples, some still with threads of carpet attached, were left in the risers which I ended up going through and removing myself by hand. We wouldn’t have hired this pro if he would have told us that getting the stairs in a good state wasn’t in his wheelhouse. Lastly, I intended to pay with credit card, which it says on the pro’s page that he takes. He doesn’t. I ended up paying cash out of pocket…overall, we were more or less screwed out of $1,000 for the stairs. They’re a mess.
