Chef Mimi facilitated the most divine, intrapersonal, fun, creative, and team building cooking class to me & a small group of people at our AirBnB in Minneapolis!It has been a small dream of ours to learn how to make Ethiopian food! I searched for Ethiopian Cooking Class in the twin cities area and SO happy I got connected with Chef Mimi! We were visiting Minneapolis from Colorado where we dont have Ethiopian food in our little town & found an AirBnB that had a functional kitchen space for a group of six to cook together!From the very beginning, Mimi committed to exactly what we were looking for; a vegan & gluten free friendly Ethiopian cooking class to host at an AirBnB. She arrived with all of the ingredients & equipment needed to make it happen! We learned so many new cooking techniques and how to make an entirely new dish to us & also had a very relaxed, casual, and meaningful time together.Thank you Mimi! 10/10 recommend for a fun group activity! I cant wait to see her again and learn how to make Pad Thai and one of her pasta dishes!

I had such a great experience at Mimis Ethiopian Cooking Class! The Gomen dish we made was absolutely delicious fresh, flavorful, and comforting. Mimi does an amazing job explaining each step and sharing the cultural background behind the food. You can really feel her passion for Ethiopian cooking in the way she teaches and presents each ingredient. The class was fun, relaxed, and easy to follow, even for beginners. I left feeling inspired to try more Ethiopian recipes at home. Highly recommend for anyone who loves good food and great energy!
