Introduction: I am a Minneapolis based lead guitarist and multi-instrumentalist with more than 25 years of professional performance experience. I specialize in teaching new to intermediate players over 40 years old. I begin with a three to six sessions "jump-start" that will get you playing, then periodically after that, to keep advancing. I can show you how to play what you want to play, and I can explain the theory behind everything you learn, so you can expand anything I teach you. Fun approach will have you rocking out after one lesson.

I've had the privilege of observing Don White's teaching abilities through several decades of working with him in the music business. Don has a knack of pinpointing a student's exact current predicament or roadblock, whether said "student" is an amateur-beginner or a working professional, and clearly communicating what next-step will produce the greatest tangible results. In a sensitive way, Don can unlock the mysteries of the fretboard related to solos, comping, and just about anything you've ever heard on any of your favorite records. Can't think of a better mentor for anyone who's fallen in love with their guitar.
