Introduction: I am very patient and non-threatening. I have many years working with young children, but even as adults, we want someone to have patience when teaching us. I make music fun. Yet, I also have a high level of education in music, and am able to "take it to the next level" for the serious-minded musician, who is thinking of pursuing college, or a professional career. I can give music theory lessons. I have completed a Bachelor's degree, and a Master's degree in Music Education. It brings me great joy to help people learn a new skill. I also help students find a good instrument at a reasonable cost. I have a good ear, and can tell if an instrument handles well, and is easy to play. I can also tell if an instrument is of quality. I like to place music in the hands of people who never realized that music was a skill that they could accomplish.
