- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We customize each quote so it is a little more complicated than planners that have set packages. We also know it actually deters some people from contacting us because they prefer knowing the price right away! However, we firmly believe that couples shouldn't have to pay for services they don't need and that each wedding is different and requires different services. So we ask that you spend 15-20 minutes with us on the phone to get an exact quote for you!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Choose someone that you connect with, even if they cost a little more than another planner. Your planner is your best friend throughout your planning process so make sure you enjoy them!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
We have different duties than on-site coordinators or catering managers. We love on-site coordinators and catering managers but they don't do the same things we do! They're making sure that the venue's interests are being looked after and a lot of time are in charge of the servers or staff that are helping with your day - in other words, they have their hands full! We do all those extra little touches that on-site coordinators and catering managers wish they had time to do but just don't.
