Having a serious back injury and living with chronic pain, I know firsthand what it's like to struggle with physical limitations. But, the power of resiliency and determination is a powerful thing. I did 6 years in the United States Marine Corps, I have a bachelors in Exercise Science, a NASM certification and am willing to do whatever it takes to help you reach your goals!
I have 4 years of experience working privately and training clients who are going through substance abuse treatment. Being able to empower individuals to gets their lives and functionality back is the most rewarding gift!

I am not a skinny person and never been one but stayed in average weight and felt comfortable in my favorite clothes but work stress took a toll. I was depressed and stressed out, and added 20 kgs. I just couldn't help myself to do any exercise or follow healthy life style. Luckily I got to know about NIA through thumbtack and I went on to hire her for personal training. From the moment I started training with her I felt positive vibe and slowly seeing difference in myself. Now I’m so much motivated that I see myself in bikini body soon lol !! I must say she is so friendly and good at her work, she is very inspiring and she is totally the person how a personal trainer should be, trust me pals if you ever think about hiring a personal trainer, don’t have a second thought about hiring NIA, I am really happy with her work. She is someone to suggest and train to have a normal healthy life style with great body, she is very patient and understands you completely and suggest food that you can/want to have in your everyday meal, off course what more can I expect than to have my health in good shape, I am hoping to see great results soon.

She meets me where I am at, has great suggestions and nudges me to go farther when self doubt kicks in. When I'm having a tough day and having trouble staying focused, she'll even help me keep track of my reps. She always gives me positive encouragement!!

Nia not only step by step explained workouts that were tailored to what results I wanted, but also gave me the confidence to do them on my own. As someone who was intimidated at the gym to do certain exercises, she perfected my form and gave me the courage to do them. She encouraged and pushed me along the way to show me that I can do things I never thought I could; to lift weight I didn't think I was capable of. I couldn't thank her enough for the confidence she has given me and the newfound love of fitness I have.

Nia is amazing! She is very energetic, encouraging, and skilled. She taught me not only new workout routines but how to even eat healthier. Her can do and uplifting attitude made our workouts for me to reach my goals fun.

Nia is very knowledgeable. She was able to create a workout plan for me that didn't leave me with any pain in my knee (past knee injury). She was also able to help me meet nutritional goals.
