My shy 14 year old daughter has been taking lessons with Arlys for several months. Arlys keeps my daughter focused with a sense of playfulness and fun. I have watched my daughter's singing confidence grow. I highly recommend Arlys for voice lessons.
Fast as hell. I wanted to get the ball rolling on these voice lessons.
We provide individual guitar, bass, drum, piano, DJ, and voice lessons. Then, we match up minded and skilled students into bands and supervise rehearsals and set up student concerts for family and friends to see at local venues such as First Avenue and the 7th Street Entry or The Triple Rock Social Club.
She is very professional, She is teaching voice lessons to my daughter. Since the first lesson with Deanna, my daughter feels so good with her and that is priceless !
Brian is a great music instructor. He's been providing voice lessons for my daughter for a year and she has improved tremendously. He's great at challenging and encouraging her and has exposed her to a variety of musical styles.
Highly recommended! We are thrilled with our daughter's progress since she started taking voice lessons from Joe over the summer. It's so nice to hear her sing (and play piano) filling our house with wonderful music! She actually wants to practice and is primed and ready for fall choir! Thank you Joe!
I signed up for some voice lessons after hearing back from Rebekka's studio. She was quick with a reply and was extremely helpful in getting me started. Then I had some one on one email exchanges with the instructor with whom I'd be taking my lessons and she was absolutely great! Then, I met Jana in person and had just the most wonderful experience I could have asked for!!
I have taken voice lessons from Rick for the past year. I am a mature (old) individual and have always loved singing, have sung in a choir for the past 10 years but never took voice. The entire experience has been thrilling. Rich has improved my range, taught techniques for breathing and breath control which are unique and made lessons fun. He has me singing music I thought I would hate and never sing and love it. Rick has introducted me to music theory and composition and is extremely knowledgable. He has been flexible with his schedule and with the music we work on. Rick is very sensitive to what the needs and objectives of the student are and adjusts lessons to meet the goals. We have taken a break for the but will resume lessons in the fall. Rick is an outstanding teacher.
Andrew works with me to help improve the support for my voice and improve the quality of my sound. Our lessons are usually at the Christ the King Lutheran Church and last about a half hour. Andrew impresses me with his extensive knowledge of the workings of the voice and how he uses that knowledge to determine exercises that help enhance the sound. In the short amount of time spent with Andrew I feel more knowledgeable about my instrument which, in addition to the exercises, has brought my singing to a higher level than before I started the lessons. The techniques that I have learned from Andrew will stay with me for a lifetime as I continue to learn and improve.
My girls really enjoy their piano and voice lessons with Alta. She is always on time, pleasant and prepared. She is also flexible in meeting the changing needs of my daughters. I highly recommend her as an instructor.
I take weekly voice lessons from Cassandra, and she is absolutely amazing. She is knowledgable about the body, voice, singing, and performing, and explains things in a way that is clear, concise, and effective. She picks out appropriate pieces for me to work on but is always looking for my input on selections. I have been taking lessons with for less than a year but already feel that I have grown tremendously as a singer, both technically and stylistically. I have never had any problems/concerns with lessons, logistically or otherwise. Cassandra is always on time and prepared for lessons, and brings with her much enthusiasm and energy. She goes above and beyond as a teacher and a mentor, and I am thrilled to be working with her!
Hi there! I have several openings at both of my locations and I'm looking to fill those slots. I teach piano, voice, cello, guitar, violin, and music and movement (early childhood music). I also offer music therapy to clients from any background. I have 8 years of private lesson experience, and I charge $15-30 per lesson, depending on lesson length and student needs. Clients have the option to take 15-min, 30-min, 45-min, or 60-min lessons. I have experience teaching students ages 6-months to 30-years-old, but I am willing to teach all ages. I speak English, some Spanish, and some ASL. I offer several recitals throughout the year. I am a strong Christian with a heart for missions. If your family is in need of financial assistance, I am always open to that conversation. I will not push my beliefs on my students, but I do offer faith-based curriculum and solo pieces upon request.
I was Annelies' supervising teacher when she was training to teach voice lessons. Annelies was a very organized, knowledgeable, creative, prepared and sensitive teacher. I heartily endorse her!
School of Rock is where kids rock on stage and in life! We are a national leader in music education for kids 7-18 years old, offering a premier performance-based music program in America. Individual weekly lessons and weekly group rehearsals lead to performing live rock concerts in real rock venues. Choose from guitar, bass, drums, electric piano or vocal lessons. All experience levels are welcome. We also offer summer camps, day workshops, jam sessions and community events. We have 3 Twin Cities locations: Burnsville, Eden Prairie and St. Paul.
Our daughters have thoroughly enjoyed their lessons with Wendy. The girls have learned a lot about rhythm, movement, and tonal patterns. They have also developed better listening skills. We look forward to the progress they will make in the coming year.
I teach piano, vocal, french horn, trombone, and trumpet lessons to students of all ages. My students learn the foundations of music theory, ear training, how to practice at home, and how to prepare for performance. I teach from my home in New Brighton, and my students come from all over the north metro area. I begin with a classical foundation, but I also find out what other styles of music (jazz, sacred, or Broadway) will make the lessons most enjoyable for each student. One of my main goals is to see students having fun with music. I love to help students develop musical excellence while also encouraging them to make music come alive in the way that they play or sing. I would love to help inspire you in your musical journey! Check out my videos on this site and on youtube! We perform at local Senior Homes twice a year to give a gift of music to the community. The performances include piano, singing, and horn solos and ensembles, so the performances are somewhat of a variety show, and the people really love them! I formed a barbershop quartet (because I also love singing), so that's what I do for fun in my free time.
