FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No. Basically $150 to meet, plan, and perform the service, including a rehearsal. If the services you desire don't require a rehearsal and the ceremony is simple and straight forward, I am willing to reduce the price. I also run specials during the year.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet the couple before the wedding either to plan or to make sure all is in order for the event. I have a variety of service outlines, which include elements that can be omitted or combined to make each ceremony your own. I often communicate with couples in between our meeting and the wedding day via email, text to further refine our planning. I come to the wedding site 30-40 minutes before the ceremony to review and fill in the license and get set up. I have the wedding couple and witnesses sign the marriage certificate immediately following the ceremony and send it in the same day. I clearly outline any processes or requirements I have or see as necessary.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.A. and a Master of Divinity Degree in addition to continual training and learning events. I also have speech training, served as a teacher speaking in front of people for over 20 years, and spoke in front of groups of people, including delivering sermons and leading ceremonies, while serving as a parish pastor.
