Lori Renard

Introduction: Lots of writing experience, formal education through 1 year of graduate school at University of Iowa Playwriting Workshop; BA from University of Wisconsin at Green Bay, English and the Humanities with emphasis on Creative Writing. Last year I edited the thesis of a 2013 graduate of Hamline University, who received an MFA in Creative Nonfiction. I'm an avid reader, I love The New Yorker and am able to work especially with teens, as I love my nieces and the time we spend together at school functions, mostly performances of plays and poetry slams, also Poetry Out Loud competitions. Striving to avoid intimidation, in tutoring, I'm learning so much myself. And excited to find work that's this rewarding!
