They were poorly prepared for the job — they had to borrow ratchet straps from me, didn’t think to put protective blankets between my piano and the straps (to prevent damage), and even asked for my help to move the piano. Additionally minor damage was sustained to the back of our piano from their cart. I think they’d be fine for moving regular things but wouldn’t use them to move a piano.

Holleman Hauling offered me the lowest quote for moving a piano out of about 5 businesses. They promptly answered any calls, used texts to communicate when more convenient, were clear about communicating times and locations, and delivered the piano on time, in spite of having to haul it up a full story of steps. The piano was minimally protected, but adequately, especially since it was a free piano. If I was moving a very expensive piano I might want a company that provided more substantial protection, but this was perfect for my situation. They did a great job, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them.

I needed a piano moved from down the street at a neighbor’s house to our house. Some stairs were involved. Every other company wanted me to count the stairs to add additional fees, but not Emmanuel! He just gave me a simple quote, we picked a time, he was there early and got the job done in 30 minutes. I’ve moved 8 times in my adult life and Emmanuel with Ultimate Moving Services is top notch! Absolutely recommend him for a hassle free move!! Also, his quote was hundreds of dollars cheaper than the other companies. I’m guessing it’s because his team is so strong - it only took 2 guys to move the piano. Other companies needed 4 or 5 guys. Thank you so much for a simple move with no stress! We are very grateful to have our piano positioned perfectly on our second floor!

Our movers worked very hard and completed the job. They moved several pieces of furniture within our home and a piano from our home to another. Might have been 5 ⭐ if they had communicated with me that they were going to be a couple of hours late because they ran into vehicle trouble.

My appointment was set for 10 AM, and at 10:15 I sent an e-mail to see if they were coming. I got the terse response "is it OK if we come in the afternoon?" I wrote back that they needed to be there by 2:00 PM. At 2:15 they called to say they were on their way.
In addition, the movers did not seem experienced at moving an upright (which can be difficult for the most experienced movers). However the piano got moved without incident.

The guys were late. They had a customer who needed help due to a house closing and my appointment was bumped by about 5 hours. However, when they showed up they were professional and efficient. It took about two and a half minutes but the piano was moved without incident. I would use them again.

I used them to move a piano very last minute and they responded to the request very quickly. When they showed up they were very careful and considerate of where I wanted it. There price was also very reasonable for a quick job. I would say if you need them to show up to a time sensitive job they might not be the crew for you. They were supposed to show up after 4 on the arranged day and after several times reaching out and moving the time back they finally said that they would come the next morning early instead. They did show up right on time the next morning and did a great job for a great price but if I was on a tight schedule it would have been a different rating a d review as the communication about when they were going to arrive was not great.

It's a shame I can't leave zero stars.
We contacted Holleman to move an upright piano - the rate seemed very reasonable, and that's where anything positive about the experience ends
They were scheduled to pick up the piano at 1:00p - when 1:30p rolled around and there was no sign of them, I called in and asked for a status update. The person who answered the phone didn't seem to grasp I was looking for an update and not to schedule a new move until I explained it multiple times. He told me he was going to call his crew and then call me back. He called back about 15m later, stating his crew was on another job. He then hung up with me to check GPS for how long it would be until they would arrive, and then called back to tell me it would be 3:00p at the earliest. As I had taken time off work to be available, this was obviously agitating. I begrudgingly agreed to the updated time frame.
Almost an hour later, I get a text message that they won't be able to do the job on the scheduled day at all anymore. I tried calling, the call was picked up and then hung up three times; so I sent a text response back telling them that I was cancelling the job.
I missed three hours of work, only to have them tell me they couldn't do anything.
Communication is atrocious. Service was non-existent. Customer service is non-existent. I STRONGLY advise against EVER using this company.
