After attending the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, Joe Blasco Makeup School of Hollywood and Current Trends Cosmetology Academy in St Louis I was never certain how I would use design, makeup and hair all together. It never quite fit, I always ended up putting one before the others. Fast forward over a decade later and I can look back and see I never did choose. My passion became clear over 10 years of weddings and unforgettable brides. They embraced all three key components for me. After having continuous referrals from brides it was then that I realized where I belong and began looking at how I can contribute in the wedding industry. I constantly felt invited back into this special business. Unsure of where I wanted to take this I enrolled in school once again to become a certified wedding planner through the Wedding Planning Institute and started Style My Aisle. What sets Style My Aisle apart from other wedding planning companies in the area is that we offer more. I saw a hole in the industry that was adding additional stress on my brides. Planning a wedding should be fun, it should be personal, and it should be easy. Unfortunately when a bride is trying to keep track of 10 different vendors or driving around meeting with several photographers, hunting down the perfect dress, trying to decide on the right bakery, the right florist, the right designer for the ceremony and reception it starts to turn the fun into an exhausting task.
