I’m so glad we found Yanming. He’s been an unbelievable help to our family. Our son took the practice ACT in late January, but needed to increase his scores before taking the real test in June. Yanming assessed his strengths and spent about 15 hours tutoring and providing him with test taking strategies. We knew he’d do better on the test, but when his scores improved by 8 points we were pleasantly surprised. Yanming was also very accommodating to our fluid schedule by adjusting meeting times and locations. He’s even tutored our son in Physics and Algebra II. I can’t say enough about how knowledgeable Yanming is. We’ve recommended him to a couple of friends and they feel the same way.
Mr. Bob Johnson was a superb tutor! He is kind, professional, enthusiastic and dedicated. We highly recommend him. Thank you, again, Bob, for your excellent tutoring sessions. Our daughter said, repeatedly, how nice/kind you are!
My son needed a lot of help with both the SAT and the ACT. Arbor Tutors really came through. Perfect 36 on the math section of the ACT.
Mrs. Nanez was my ACT tutor my junior year. Initially my science and English scores were lower than what I wanted. Mrs. Nanez helped me bring both of those scores up into the thirties. Mrs. Nanez tailors her strategies based on the person. I would highly recommend her for any student that is looking to improve their score!
They really helped me understand the ACT and I was very confident on test day this past weekend. It was nice to work with someone who just did really well on the test.
Jason is an excellent teacher and is knowledgeable across all subjects. He was able to immediately improve my son's test scores by giving him quick techniques and simple guides to answering test questions. He improved my son's ACT score enough to get him accepted into an Ivy school.
Mr. Holland was contacted to help improve my daughter’s ACT score. He easily and quickly established rapport with her and provided resources to supplement the book. My daughter enjoyed meeting with him and did not mind doing the “homework”. Scheduling was flexible and Mr. Holland accommodated her many high school activities. Her ACT score did improve resulting in additional scholarship money. I highly recommend Mr. Holland’s tutorial services.
I appreciate that the experience is taylored to our needs.
College tutoring has helped me so much! The tutors are great and truly want to see you improve. If you put your mind to it, they will help you achieve it.
Efrem is a experienced teacher and tutor, he got 10+ years of teaching and tutoring experience. He works hard, show respect to students, has detailed explanations when work with you. Also he is a sincere Christian who loves God. I would recommend him to anyone who has urgent need in math and science.
I had a very good experience working with Faisel. My ACT score came up 3 points, and more specifically my math score came up FIVE points! I was very please at how prepared I was when it came to test day. Meeting for tutoring was very convenient and times were fairly flexible. Overall, I was very happy with my experience with Faisel

I have a degree in civil engineering. My areas of expertise include algebra, geometry, algebra 2, precalculus, calculus, ACT, physics, and chemistry. Having worked with students from many public and private schools, I am familiar with the math and science curricula of the schools in the St. Louis area. Recently, I went through training for one of the top ACT tutoring programs.

I was the supervisor of the largest community education center (Mullanphy) in St. Louis City (now retired). The youth attending the center were primarily 12 to 20 years old. We had a rule that in order to play basketball, you had to have three tutoring hours a week at the center, even if you were an honor student. I managed to get the honor students to tutor their peers if they were interested. I have been coaching students since 1985, from middle school through high school, as well as taught on the adjunct faculty of three community colleges. I like working with students, although my professional career was in business more than education. I have always got along well with youth and find it a worthwhile activity especially now that I am "semi-retired" and have more freedom with my schedule. You need to be consistent not gullible but respectful. What's easy for one person can be Greek to another. People learn differently, and the key is to find the key to each individual.
