In my work in photography in 6 years, I have encountered three types: Those who have great skill in their craft and skill with people, those who have great skill and poor skill with people, and those who have neither. Ms. Tillman is certainly the first type. Her hairstyling was not only done very well for the scheduled shoot but her proactive approach in making adjustments to the style for the model during the shoot was amazing. Very rarely do I encounter this as most stylist do not take an active role in the shoot themselves. It is not a habit to recommend anyone whom I would not recommend on the same level as myself, however Ms. Tillman is an exception. She is highly recommended by me without being provoked to do so!

Kanisha is very professional and talented. She always captures the look I want. She is very fast and always there to provide hair care tips. I definitely recommend her!

I worked with Kanisha on a shoot for a magazine spread. She styled 3 models. It was an all day shoot, from 9:30am til about 5pm. She was on time and very efficient in her work. She was able to user her own experience and imagination to create very different looks on each model. What stood out to me was her willingness to take direction, not for specifically what the look would be but direction on the mood/concept we were trying to achieve.

What types of customers have you worked with?
I usually work on site at events. My favorite events to work are weddings, fashion shows, hair shows, plays and any formal events such as Quinceras, and debutante balls.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would advise the customer to be open minded, and have clear communication with their stylist. Its our job too make sure your hair inhances your over-all look, but we need your feedback to insure that happens.
