FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Acupuncturists must complete a minimum of 60 hours of continuing education every 4 years to maintain proper credentialing and licensing.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was devastated by a fall that my Father took, and that ultimately caused his death. Although surgery may have helped him, he was terrified and lived a pain-filled life for 5 years beyond his fall. After my Dad passed away, I witnessed my Mother's decline into what was diagnosed as Adult-Onset Multiple Sclerosis...a cerebellar issue, which I firmly believe developed from her shock, deep sadness and depression as a result of my Dad's passing.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common issues / conditions that my clients face are pain-related, recovery from injury or, surgery, fertility (both male and female), psycho-emotional issues such as stress, anxiety and depression, insomnia and headaches/migraines.
