Introduction: I absolutely LOVE my line of work. Simply because I see the beauty in everything. Because I see so many client's suffering from the devastation of hair loss, I see the huge impact in has on their lives, self esteem and overall self confidence. It has always been important to me to make others feel valued, respected and 'pretty'. So this is what I am able to do everyday. I wouldn't change it for the world!

I have been going here for about 3 years. She is very professional the shop atmosphere is great and It is very beautiful and always clean. I feel like a movie star every time I leave the salon. My hair stays up for months and continues to look fresh as if it were just done. I get so many compliments that I keep her business cards on me. She also provides healthy hair tips and explains how to maintain the hairstyle. I have had full sew in's and sew in's with hair left out. She has also cut and styled me natural hair. I have never had any issues and I love this salon. Anna promptly responds tk me for appointments and always make me feel like I am her number one client even thought I know she styles several other clients hair. I have never experienced damage or breakage since going to Anna's shop. I am so glad I located her and will continue to be a faithful client. I have several photos if anyone needs to see them and I can figure out how to post. I hope this is helpful to someone.

Anna is the absolute worst business owner I have ever had the misfortune to meet. Sure she does hair ok, but getting in contact with her is like shooting in the dark. You MAY get in contact with her or she can totally ignore your texts and calls, all while being extremely active on Facebook and Instagram. You would think that someone willing to put hundreds of dollars a month into her hair, and have the ability to bring in a huge amount of new clientele, would be treated a lot better. Women that get this done with their hair need to have someone that will consistently have the respect and good business sense to pick up a phone. Save your time and money and go to someone that acknowledges you AND does great things with hair. I wish I had seen a review like this before I wasted those things, and my sanity on her.

my experience with anna thorton was like no other hair clinics i been to. It was very clean and peaceful she was very professional at everything she did highly recommend her if you want GREAT services in healthy hair and weaving.... her and the Hollywood hair clinic was the best choice i ever been to in 34year's.....

Anna is one of the best stylist in Kansas City. I was sick last year and lost my hair I emailed several stylist with pictures and no one had an answer for me but advised me to wear a wig. I am a young lady and the wig was just not for me taking it on and off was very depressing because I had to look at my hair loss everyday. I didn't have much money and she made me a beautiful custom wig that was sewn on to my head. I went every few weeks she washed it styled it so that I could fill beautiful again she was a blessing to me during a bad time in my life. I consider her more than my stylist she is now my friend.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely! That is the fun part:) I haven't left the states in the past year because of business but I typically travel to Atlanta, California, Texas, Iowa and Arizona offering my educational workshops and services. I also stay very much up to date with the latest trends and technique to keep our salon separated from the rest. We have participated in the Bonner Brothers Hair Shows, Expo's here in Kansas City and other workshops for stylist.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
It was never a chose. I was simply born to do this. So as a child my path had already been set for me. I'm a stylist at heart:)
What types of customers have you worked with?
My job changes daily! From eye lash extensions to make up applications to my famous sewn applications to custom colors...I try not to put my profession in a box. I am always willing and open to try something new and excited! And the sky is the limit to as of what I can do, and do on a regular basis.
