The work done is fine. We accepted the lowest bid that we received for some tile work and were prepared for some struggles. I would say overall, the professionalism was low. The workers were often bickering with one another and one even resorted to slamming doors when he encountered an unexpected delay. Despite putting my requirements in writing, the pro forgot them, and then accused us of adding work to the project. The specifications are still in my original request for bids. Having said all of that the price was a bargain. The delays were minimal. The work looks good and there are only a few spots were mortar is peeking up through the grout work and creating a danger to bare feet so we do have to grind down in a few spots that we didn’t see during the final walk-through. The pro also added a few hundred dollars onto the invoice without discussing it with us, for work that was already included in the bid, but for ease of just moving on with my life, I paid it and moved on.
