Jose did a fantastic job refinishing our ceiling and daughter's playroom. He was on time and professional, but he also went above and beyond in terms of the work. He took care of a minor plumbing issue around the wet bar he removed and told me "don't call the plumber, they'll charge you and arm and legI'll take care of it." Then he just stubbed the pipes, took care of it and didn't ask for any more money. I paid him a little on top anyways. Because he's a pro and he deserved it. I would hire 100 Joses to remodel and paint my house right now. I'm using other contractors and wishing he did it all. He just does really awesome drywall.
Rojas very good contractor will use him again for all my contracting needs. They rebuilt and rescreened my porch and did it in timly manner and clean up was great
We had two double windows replaced, a plate glass bathroom window replaced with an acrylic glass block window, and had a half moon window removed and replaced with lap siding on the exterior and sheetrock on the interior. The work was done quickly and expertly - could not have asked for a better first time experience with a private contractor! We highly recommend Marcus!
Spot on timing, estimate, and repair. I get the feeling that they could fix an appliance with scrap metal and make it better than before.
We reached out to five contractors all of which said they could not start until July. None impressed us at all. David then gives us a bid by email within 48 hrs. and then we meet and discuss scope of project and set a date for start. We never expected him to work solely on this project from start to finish but that is exactly what he delivered. Timely arrival times arranged in advance with us, excellent communication throughout even while working in our home, touching base, asking questions, clarifying details. David exceeded our expectations and found a window that we only discussed verbally on the first meeting and it looked fabulous when in place. We will work with David again on multiple projects because he shows integrity with the quality of his work as well as shows up when he says he is coming to start work. He finished exactly on schedule with having to arrange electrical contractors. We are still working on other projects and looking forward to hi, assisting us with those. Lana Lee
Dustin and his crew were professional, on-time, and even worked with me on the budget of the project. I could not be happier with their work and the overall experience. 1200 sq. ft patio and walkway Dustin and crew helped with forms and rebar before pour and managed entire pour from beginning to end. Crew was tidy and used their own tools. Dustin was relentless to his guys to clean as they worked, paying special attention to my property. Cleaned up after pour and scheduled expansion joint cuts and removal of excess/left over concrete Applied sealant before leaving After working with so many sub-par and dishonest contractors in the past, I couldn't be more pleased to recommend Dustin and his crew as highly as possible. Hired Shay to install new kitchen backsplash and repair some drywall in a bathroom. He and his partner did a great job - showed up when they said they would and completed in a reasonable amount of time. We are really happy with how both projects turned out.
Seth and Gina were an awesome pair to work with. They went above and beyond with offering sample paint colors, painting trim, stairs and other areas that weren't part of the original quote. They listened to what we were looking for and made recommendations accordingly. You can tell they truly love what they do as it shows in their perfectionist work quality. Our kitchen turned out better than I had expected. It looks brand new! They cleaned up each day and were not bothered by kids watching and running around. Pricing was more than fair. I plan on having them do some more work for us soon. We have found our "go to" contractor for all our future projects.
I have called on this company several times and have always been satisfied along with my clients. They responded in a very timely manner and could take on all of the different projects my clients needed done under one roof for an easy and smooth transaction for me and my clients. Means alot when everyone is so busy these days to not have a hassel of meeting different contractors with inconvient time frames. One phone call to a one stop professional company. Resonable pricing and licensed and insured too. Call them first. You won't be disappointed.
Chris is a great contractor. We met numerous times to make sure everything was right from start to finish. The end result is beyond our expectations. Fantastic communication and will be called on again for future projects.
I am extremely impressed with Holderman Construction. I recently hired this company for a project that involved several components, both indoor and exterior components, and I was completely satisifed with the results of every single component. I’ll go into the details in a minute, but among the highlights of working with this company were the excellent communication and feedback, the punctuality, great professionalism, and above all, the incredible attention to detail and high work quality, along with an excellent value - these guys put a lot of labor into my project at more than a fair price. And they were extremely easy to work with. My project lasted 4 days and they were great to interact with every single day, and did quality work every day. They were polite, friendly, and clean. They even removed their shoes, and did an outstanding job with post-project cleanup. The main interior project was bathroom remodeling of cabinets. We had attempted previously to have someone use color stain to re-stain our cabinets and trim, and we just never liked the results. So this project was starting to add up in cost, with a readily we didn’t really like. Ray (the primary/owner) and Aaron (one of his main partners) did an absolutely outstanding job on the bathroom cabinets. They fully sanded all the drawers and doors down so that the previous and original stains/polyurethane were completely removed before applying the color stain again. That was a critical component, because in the end, the color stain ended up looking terrific - even better than I’d hoped it would look. My expectation of how they should look when completed came from the swatches of the particular color I selected (rustic grey) for the color stain I’d purchased. We realized that the previous application of that same stain, we weren’t really seeing the wood come through the stain, but instead the previous (original) stain, becuase it hadn’t been fully removed. In the end, the cabinets and trim looked BETTER than that expectation! Ray and Aaron really hit it out of the park on this one. And when they were done with the sanding and staining, they cleaned up really well from the dust and there was very little lingering chemical smell from the stain. Awesome! I also had them fix some lingering plumbing problems that had frustrated me because a previous contractor was not able to resolve them. Not Holderman Construction - fixed them both for good. The remaining components of my project were wood rot repair and storm door installation. I really loved what they did with both of these tasks. Seems straightforward but there is the materials aspect - which product, wood or vinyl, etc. There was an odd complexity to the back door wood rot that introduced a potential obstacle but Ray and Aaron were able to find a solution and overcome it by finding the right type of wood at the right thickness (original builder apparently chose an unorthodox door and window frame thickness for SOME but not all of my windows and doors). They repaired the wood rot and painted over it and it looks great and is of course no longer rotted. But the real bonus for me was that in the process, Ray managed to correct an incredibly vexing problem with the main back door in front of the storm door - it was not level, and leaking a TON, and I mean a TON of air through the bottom and the sides. I didn’t go into the storm door installation with any expectation of improving the air flow issue for that door, but that’s what I ended up with. An almost complete remediation of that problem. I am absolutely thrilled with the back door now. It closes properly, it’s level, and virtually no air coming in! That’s only been bothering us for 15 years now. On top of that, several other contractors tried, but ultimately failed, to resolve that issue with the door. And come to think of it, at least one if not two previous contractors told me they’d fixed wood rot issues that they really did not fix. Well, they’re fixed now, becuase Holderman Construction fixed them CORRECTLY. Ray is highly attentive to detail, does quality work, at a more than fair price. You can tell he knows what he’s doing. And I can say the same for Aaron, his partner. I really enjoyed working with them, and not only would I hire Holderman Construction again, but I’m sure right now that I WILL hire them again for other projects I have waiting. I highly recommend them.
Extremely professional, detailed with excellent communication/listening skills. These are the three primary qualities I look for as a General Contractor when hiring a sub-contractor. Enrique is a poised man who lead his team in delivering a high-end framing project on an upper-end basement finish project. In addition, his team is VERY clean and well kept. A quality that is hard to find in this industry today. I would highly suggest Enrique for framing or sheetrock work.
