Hi Bobby, my name is Ben, I am one of the managers here. We are new to the area and I wondered about this question as well. Before we put out any papers in the area I did some research because I was interested to know what was allowed. As far as I could find, door hangers were classified as "canvasing" which is legal, but knocking on doors (trying to speak and sell something) is classified as "soliciting". Believe me, I don’t prefer solicitors trying to knock and persuade me into buying something. This is uncomfortable and I would never allow our crews to do this. If you know of a helpful resource on this issue I would be more than happy to read over it so that we could better understand what is allowed.
