- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My uncle and his friends were Djs and I enjoyed watching them play music. It made me curious to see them mixing records on two turntables at block parties and in the parks. I always loved music, it was always playing in my house. My father played everything from straight ahead jazz to rock.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I work anything from major concerts of 15,000 in attendance to private parties of 100 in attendance and from elementary to college events. I have recently been doing wedding receptions and birthday parties for all ages. I'm a dj for any occasion.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Have as much information about your event as possible. Call well in advance a good dj is often booked months in advance. If you wait till the last minute you may end up with something less than expected.
