Patrick has been a great teacher so far! I took lessons in the past and he was able to pick up with me where I left off. He is incredibly patient as I continue to learn and helpful when I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Something that I appreciate is that he is open to going in whatever musical direction I want to go and is able to quickly learn songs himself before teaching me the correct way to play them. He has also been very accommodating with my schedule and open to moving lesson times if needed which has been a big help. Overall, highly recommended!

I’m a student of Patrick Kavanagh. The most important thing that Patrick has done for me is to get me to enjoy playing the guitar again. I have a renewed interest because I appreciate how I sound and that comes from practicing, which is fun now. I've been playing the guitar for over 40 years at an intermediate level and mostly self-taught. Patrick has filled in the blanks by giving me a foundation in blues technique to build on and a new confidence that I can get better.

I have been going to Patrick for a few months and he has been great! I am fairly new at guitar and he has been very patient with teaching me the basics as well as showing me how to do things properly. He also is willing to learn any song I would like and is very good at breaking them down step by step for me. I am looking forward to many more months of great and fun lessons!

Patrick is an excellent instructor. He has the experience to know what a person needs to do in order to improve and the mind to know that doing endless drills take the fun out of it. Also, his personality seems to lighten the mood for nervous first time players. In the relatively short time that I have been working with Patrick, my skill level has increased exponentially. I would certainly recommend him to anyone looking to learn to play the guitar.

I learn Guitar from Patrick, and he is a great teacher. I have little experience in western music (I'm trained in Indian classical music) and wanted to learn to play the guitar just for fun, and I found Patrick. He proceeded to teach me the basics and was extremely good at explaining everything to me, and working on technique problems with me. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to learn the play guitar.
