Introduction: I teach at Washington University in St. Louis. I have taught students in U.S, Britain, and China. As a young professional, I can easily relate to my students.
Besides emphasizing the fundamentals, I structured my classes to be fun and motivating for beginners. At the end of every lesson, I endeavor to make my student walk out with an "aha" moment as they gained new insights on music/piano playing.
Credentials:
3rd Place in the 4th International Toyama Piano Competition;
Highest Mark in International A-Level Music Performance & Composition;
1st Place in Shanghai Regional Piano Competition;
Friends of Music Award from Washington University;
2nd Place in Washington University's Concerto Competition
I love sharing my knowledge and witnessing the moments when my students overcame struggles to reach a higher level.
