    Lisa is the complete package! I have had personal trainers many times before, but none that got to know me and my habits to find out why my body was not responding to certain things. She helps with nutrition, stress relief & variety in workout. She works with whatever equipment you may have & supplements with her own. I wanted to do some workouts outside & she was very accommodating! She gave me tips on running which I had just started doing seriously. I overdid with the running & she helped me figure out what I did and gave me some stretching exercises and other things to do to avoid any more injury, which has not happened again since. I highly recommend her to anyone from beginners who are just getting into things & maybe needing to lose weight or the more advanced fitness folks who may be training for something in particular. She's very easy to work with and will get you to your goal!

    Choosing Start Right was an easy decision. Lisa made it clear that she not only focuses on workouts that are effective, safe and are based on solid (and current) research, but also that she tailors her approach to each client. She's friendly, encouraging and very knowledgeable. And having the trainer come to you is a huge benefit. It makes it so much easier to fit working out into a busy schedule.

    I've been working with Lisa as a trainer for a month. I've got a lot of weight to lose, and so far I've lost 1.2% of my body fat. I'm feeling stronger, and I'm very pleased with my progress. The workouts she's assigned are perfect. They push me to my limits, but not beyond them. I look forward to continuing to work with Lisa to lose the rest of the weight I need to lose to be healthy.


What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I constantly read up on the latest peer-reviewed research in physical activity, nutrition, and weight loss. I also complete a minimum of 20 continuing education contact hours per year to keep expanding my knowledge and skills to provide my clients with the best programming available.
