- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to get the best price possible. If the customer likes me, I can price match apple to apple. Many customers do not realize that cruise companies add government fees and port charges after the advertised price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I treat all customers the same. I like to get as much information as possible. I like challenges so if you want to go to places off of the beaten track, I would love to work with you. I can work with one person or a group up to a 1000. I can offer the leader with a deeply discounted cruise with minimum requirements. The advantage working with me is personal service. I am just a phone call away and can be reached easily in case of travel emergencies. I will fight for you if you run into problems you need help on. The travel companies pay for my commission. Please do not be afraid to tell me NO. Please let me know if you found a lower price. My suppliers usually price match, and I would be delighted to be your travel advisor.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Social Work degree. I am a certified Destination Wedding Specialist and Sandals Specialist. In addition, I have obtained ACC, MCC, and ECC from CLIA. I also have certification from Travel University. I have attended many conferences and trade shows and keep up with the latest trend, I have sailed over 35 cruises.
