I was fortunate enough to have found Mellow Mushroom Catering when I had to arrange a dinner in St. Louis (I was in NYC!) for a group of 25 picky people with varied dietary preferences including vegetarian and vegan. Kelly Nielson, Catering Coordinator, was able to talk me off a cliff through her sage advice and proficiency, and with her help and calm demeanor, I was able to order plenty of food, including salad and pizzas and all the fixings, that covered all dietary bases. The food was not only delicious, but was delivered on time, and was packed and presented beautifully - not a detail was overlooked! I highly recommend Mellow Mushroom for your catering needs - you will not be disappointed with the proficient service or the variety, quality and presentation of the food! I have utilized Francesco's for Catering now going on two years and might be the best caterer I've ever used. The food is outstanding, service is top notch always on time always & attention to details. In fact I like the catering enough I try to go there and eat in the restaurant on my free time when I can. Lucy was very professional and her wonderful personality made the day extremely fun. She provided us with suggestions on locations that were ideal to capture the fall colors, as well as advice on coordinating our outfits with the environment. Her availability and willingness to communicate with us made it easy and comfortable to plan the session. Her knowledge on natural lighting and photography in general resulted in pictures above and beyond our expectations. We've already booked her for our wedding next fall, and strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a professional photographer.
By choice we assembled the salads for the luncheon, but Bistro 517 did all the prep work. There were plenty of ingredients to assemble the salads. We could have used more dressing and ice tea. The wrapped asparagus was delicious, but it would have been nice to have 2 pp instead of one. The lemon mousse cake was outstanding and beautiful. Many of the guests took business cards.
