I wish I could choose more than three qualities to describe our amazing and wonderful wedding officiant, Pastor Melrick Bolgier. Two weeks before our wedding, our pastor notified us that he was unable to marry us due to health concerns, so we turned to Wedding Wire. After looking at the awesome reviews, we contacted Pastor Melrick Bolgier and we hit the jackpot because he was above and beyond amazing!!!! We were so blessed to have him officiate our wedding on May 30, 2020. During our Zoom meeting, he took quality time to talk with us and it felt like we knew him forever. We were able to share our vision for our special day and he asked us some fun questions (sort of like the Newlywed Game) that helped my husband and I get to know each other even better. He put us at ease and we couldn't stop talking about how happy we were to find Pastor Bolgier. On the day of our wedding, he was punctual. Unfortunately, I was 30 minutes late but was greeted by his warm smile and it comforted my nerves when he told me Michael was waiting for me at the altar. Prior to our special day, I sent the program to pastor which stated that we were honoring the memories of my late dad and Michael's late mom. At the beginning of our ceremony, Pastor Bolgier held a moment of silence for my dad and Michael's mom as he called out their full names. Michael and I were surprised by that wonderful gesture which made our wedding day that much more special. We felt so blessed by that moment as we felt the spirits of our late parents with us. Pastor Bolgier, you'll never how good that made us feel and especially since it was unexpected. Pastor Bolgier kept the ceremony exactly the way we wanted it and left us wanting to follow him into fellowship and that's the honest truth. His easy going personality and warm spirit made us feel comfortable and he gave us the best advice for our marriage that we will hold firmly to for the rest of our lives. He saved the day in every way. Thank you, Pastor Melrick Bolgier, for being exceptional and going beyond anything we could've ever expected in an officiant. God blessed us with you!:-)

Pastor Bogier was AMAZING!!! My fiance and I had been arguing the days before the wedding and on Rehearsal day, Pastor Bogier (a man I had only conversed with via text, phone and thumbtack.com) made everything better! He was so warm and open and FUNNY!! My whole family immediately fell in love with him. The pastor quickly got us organized and, with jokes and his big smile, got us through rehearsal with enough time for him to personally talk to each of us about how we were doing, what we wanted done specially, etc. He also reminded us at the end of Rehearsal why we were all there - for John and I. For the Love and Lifetime Commitment that we were celebrating and making official in the eyes of God. On Wedding Day, the Pastor was there on time and texting me throughout the morning to keep me on track (I was still 30 minutes late, LOL) The ceremony was smooth, Pastor's talk was warm, funny and personal for John and I. We laughed and cried and filled our hearts with love. Just absolutely a wonderful, awesome, amazing, stupendous wedding from beginning to end!
