Dennis Cox with Live Events Missouri was the biggest Godsend any bride could ask for. From the beginning to the end, he was professional, prompt, incredibly easy to access (emails, texts, calls), oh and FUN!! I planned my own wedding, so he helped ask the right trigger questions, made sure he had all the family names right, and paid great attention to detail. We ended up using him for our ceremony and reception, and the ceremony music was fabulous (and we didn't have to worry about an iPod not playing or not working), and he beat our guests back to the reception and had the whole light show and music playing.. we ordered a gobo light through him as well in a script monogram 'M' and it all looked AMAZING together. Dennis stayed so calm, he kept the party alive and fed the party all the appropriate music. It was just wonderful. Also? He doesn't drink during the party. What a true, fun, easy to work with professional person. If you DON'T hire him, you're crazy!! Clay and I absolutely loved him and what he did for us.. and so did the rest of our guests. Our reception was the best party we've ever been to! THANK YOU DENNIS!

Dennis pretty much made our day. He and his company went way beyond what they promised us. I was blown away with how much fun we had during out reception! He also officiated our marriage ceremony and was a complete gem! From the ceremony music to officiating to partying during your reception-Live Events has it all!

Dennis and Rachel were very easy to communicate with before the reception. They offered great advice and helped me to make decisions I wasn't sure about!
Dennis was at the reception and he couldn't have been better. He did a great job feeling out the mood and providing awesome music for dancing and just hanging out. He was very flexible and we really appreciated his hard work at our event.

Live Events did a great job at our wedding! They were professional, and acted quick if one little thing went wrong. They had a large variety of music and were able to find any song we wanted. We had a lot of fun playing the shoe game, and were very helpful with helping us chose music for the ceremony! Thank you guys so much!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our prices vary per event. We tailor each event to the exact desire of our clients! We offer added Lighting, uplighting, multiple sound systems, screens and projectors in addition to each DJ package. All "add on's" are at a discounted rate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our DJ's are trained for at least a full year (12 months). Our DJ's are constantly "cross-trained" among each other, as well as with our "friendly competitors", where we share new industry secrets. Our DJ's are also up-to-speed with the most current charting songs and artists, thus, constantly growing the musical knowledge of each DJ.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
It was a simple decision for us to get into the DJ business! Simply put: We love to see people happy and we love to see people have fun! Becoming a DJ was the childhood dream of the founder of Live Events! This is our passion!
