Branden Austin is an incredibly talented carpenter. He is a man of his word and finishes a job on time and within his estimate. He did several things at our home including building a pantry he and a fireplace that he resurfaced from red brick. Will hire him to do additional work when he has time. Thanks Branden!

We hired Christ Powered Construction to do a kitchen backsplash, bathroom wall, and master bathroom shower remodel. They were very responsive and informative about the estimate, the work that needed to be done, which materials we needed to buy, and how/when they'd do the job. The job was done in a timely manner and we were very pleased with the interactions we had with them. The kitchen tile work is amazing--straight lines all around and clean work. The bathroom wall looks good, but there was excess cement on the adjacent walls that we had to sand down in order to make the texture uniform. The main thing that keeps this from being a 5-star review is that the tile work in the master bathroom looks rushed. Lines are not straight, grout is uneven or excessive in places. Since we weren't on premises for the remodel, we weren't able to see this until after the job was done. We had to call a couple of times to have a light wired correctly and for the new faucet to be adjusted--this isn't necessarily negative, it just had to be done.

They were fast, efficient and really did quality work. They removed existing tile and installed new tile in a bathroom and kitchen, installed new toilets and a storm door. Would definitely recommend. A+ work at a fair price and easy to work with!

They were great to work with. They not only remodeled the bathrooms but they provided suggestions to improve the layout. They re-routed the plumbing and installed new tubs, vanities, fixtures, etc. Installed porcelain tile in the bathrooms, kitchen floor, kitchen back splash, sun room and office. Their workmanship is fantastic. I am very particular and tend to scrutinize the work of contractors and I am very happy with their work. They also installed hardwood flooring throughout the rest of the house and the floor looks beautiful.

Michael Boyd completed an upgraded kitchen remodel in July of 2003 at our home in Aurora, MO. The job took approximately 3 weeks to finish. Michael was very exacting and meticulous about his work. He even matched the molding above the cabinets he installed with the existing crown molding in our kitchen. He completed the job on time and his work was excellent. He also completed a large cabinet for our double ovens that included a slotted cabinet above for oven trays. Michael also installed 5 new doors on our cabinets that included two that contained glass fronts. He cut Victorian arched trim below the glass cabinetry that went with our Victorian home. He installed a wood top made of teak on a built-in desk. In addition, he installed bead board above counter tops in kitchen. Michael also installed all wood type laminate on counter top areas in kitchen. He also repaired and installed new wood runners on our built in breadboard. He completed custom trim on all cabinets including tops of cabinets and counter tops. He also installed 8 drawer guides and fronts with easy closing ability to our kitchen drawers. In addition, Michael completed all tear off work involving cabinets himself. My wife especially liked the custom glass doors that he made for our cabinet that displayed our dishes. We truly enjoyed working with Michael on our kitchen remodel. We also hired Michael later to complete a washer/dryer installation with all the necessary plumbing that was needed. We had him move the washer/dryer from our basement to a utility room just off the kitchen. He built a special custom cabinet behind the washer/dryer to hide the plumbing fixtures. In addition, Michael built a broom closet with an upper cabinet above for storage. He also built two additional cabinets above the washer/dryer for storage in this utility room. We truly appreciated all the quality and professional work that Micheal Boyd completed in our kitchen and utility room. We would highly recommend him to anyone who desires excellent cabinetry work in their kitchen or home.

Tim gave me a very reasonable and accurate quote on the spot after examining my kitchen counters. He rebuilt my counters and kitchen island and installed laminate on all including the backsplash. He also installed travertine tile on part of the backsplash. I was extremely impressed with his professional demeanor and exceptional craftsmanship. Tim was also very accommodating, good-natured and understanding whenever I changed my mind on several items I needed done. He is very respectful of my home while working and cleans up as he goes. I highly recommend Tim Ruble of TR Construction and will be using him in the Spring to roof my house. I have already recommended him to many friends looking for a qualified, reputable, honest craftsman.

Our 75-year-old house was sinking into a mass of needed repairs and needed updating. Not everyone likes to work on old houses but we lucked out when our daughter gave us Rob's name. Then the fun and action began! I can't begin to list the projects Rob and Crew did, and to perfection. But a few are: Sheetrocked and finished with beautiful moulding our cracked walls in living and dining rooms, tore out old vinyl flooring in Bathroom and kitchen, installed beautiful tile in those two rooms. When we complained about how long it took hot water to reach our kitchen sink, he suggested and installed a wonderful all-house system that brings hot water to every hot water faucet in the house, almost instantly. Since we are on our own well we constantly worried about wasting all that water just to get the hot. Problem Solved! Along with the major projects he and his crew did many "extras", installing new light fixtures, etc. Our Maltapoo Riley, an inside dog, needed a place to be an "outside" dog with his own space to explore, and Rob built a fenced area for him, installed a screen door with dog door going from our back porch to his own playground. Everything they've done has been finished quickly with a minimum of mess, old materials carried away, etc. He's our first choice in anything to do with making our home better, safer, and more beautiful.

I hired Fries Restoration and Design for a bathroom remodel, kitchen floors, window replacement, and drywall repair and paint. They did an awesome job and were extremely fair on the price. Matt the owner was extremely honest and straight forward, he communicated with me about everything. He doesn't cut corners and worked with me on what would be most cost effective with my budget. He made great suggestions on design. I will definitely be using them again.

In late Feb. 2012, I took several bids on an assortment of repairs needed to my rental house. Rob's Handyman Services were the most professional and came in with the lowest bid. Rob and his crew did everything from replacing a ceiling, prepping a kitchen for painting then doing an excellent job of painting the kitchen and the rest of the house, replacing windows and screens, repairing walls, fixing various plumbing problems, and bringing an old hardwood floor back to life. Rob was congenial and professional throughout the project. The work was excellent and I felt proud to offer the completed project up for rent.
