FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually base my prices off of how far I have to travel to the client's house, how many visits they want a day, if the pet owner wants me to stay the night, and how many pets I will be caring for.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After the initial phone call or email inquiring about my services, I usually set up a time to meet with the client at their house. At this meeting I meet their pets as well as see the set up of their house, go over relevant pet care information, and go over any other household chores they need to have taken care of while they are away.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working as a veterinary technician for 8 years which gives me experience in everything from giving medications, providing treatments such as subcutaneous fluids and insulin injections, to getting picky animals to eat in the owner's absence. I am also pet CPR certified. I also have been petsitting for the past 8 years.
