I just started working with Devin and just from the first lesson I can tell this is going to be a great experience. He is extremely knowledgeable and skilled with a guitar. After just one lesson I can honestly say i can see an improvment in myself already! Can't wait to see where I am after I spend some time learning from Devin!

I'm thoroughly enjoying my piano lessons with Jack. He's fun, patient, organized, and methodical in his approach to instruction. Every week, he has something new and interesting for me while also reinforcing previous lessons. He offers practical suggestions and explanations that help me understand how it all fits together without neglecting the power of emotion and instinct. I'd briefly tried piano lessons as a teenager and even though I desperately wanted to learn how to play, I found the slow pace and rigid technique so dull and tedious that I lost interest after just two lessons. I can't possibly imagine losing interest now. It's clear that Jack loves music and luckily for us, he has a gift for teaching it as well.

David was great. He's teaching me some basic drumming. My first lesson was last night. David came to my house, he was on time, looked neat and clean, and got right to business. He had even stopped at a music store on the way and got me a book on drumming. He gave me instruction on grip and basic drumming skills which was great. I felt I got more than my money's worth. I would recommend him to anyone. I look forward to my next lesson.

Peter’s thoughtful reply to my initial “thumbtack” inquiry made it clear that he was knowledgeable about drumming and able to communicate the complexities of percussion to a novice. Starting with the basics, we have been focusing on hand positioning and rudimentary skills on a practice pad. Peter’s skills are phenomenal so he can demonstrate a variety of hand positions and playing styles with remarkable precision of tempo. Then, and here’s the kicker, I play the student drum kit (snare, bass & HH) and Peter plays his colossal drum kit and we work on various riffs simultaneously with accuracy of timing being a primary focus. This approach to learning is proving to be extremely helpful as I can watch, listen, copy, and play along with Peter – an ideal method for the experiential learner. And, it’s fun, fun, FUN! Peter is an outstanding teacher for any player, at any level and at any age! I highly recommend him!

John has taught both my sons drum lessons! Today I had my first lesson and I have been excited since I left. He not only is great at his job, but you leave with a sense of pride. I didn't think I could do it, but he made it so easy for me to learn a beat. He also is a great role model to my children. If anyone of any age is looking to learn a new skill I would start with him!!!

I did not have the commitment to rehearse on my own so I stopped lessons. Lessons were always fun and stretching me.

Sam is a wonderful guitar teacher. I am a intermediate guitarist that took a few lessons with the intention to improve at improvisation as well as jazz theory. As a teacher, I found him to be knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. His music theory skills are masterful, and he gave me many resources that I use continuously.

      About

Are you tired? Stressed out? Just want some relief? Then try stimulating your mind, as well as that inner funk with the drums! My name is Matt Clark. I play the drums, as well as any other percussion instrument. I've been a touring/session drummer for a few years now and have had the privilege to play with many great artists. I love to teach music and I specialize in drums. I can teach anybody from a beginner, at the age of 5 or 50 to a professional level. Not only will I teach many basic principles such as proper posture, grip techniques, rudiments, counting, theory, etc., but also show how the most basic groove can be turned into complex form. But that's in due time! The many styles that I have played and can also teach from a novice to pro level include marching band rudiments, rock, heavy metal, R&B, hip-hop, pop, jazz, fusion, country, bebop, funk, afro-cuban, salsa, drum n' bass, independent and interdependent studies, stick tricks, processing and applications and many more. I can also teach many percussive instruments ranging from the djembe, conga, cajon, etc. I teach proper hand techniques, the proper way to play certain hand percussion (grip and form), and the many traditional rhythms from the instruments native lands. I know due to the economic situation we are all in, money is hard to come by, but we all need something to keep us in a great place, whether that be sports, sewing, cooking, underwater basket weaving - the list goes on and on. My gift is music. That's what I was put here to do. I have done much research on all the music stores throughout the area and I can promise you this - I can teach you much more knowledge, at a comfortable speed, cheaper than any music store. I also offer groove delivery service, which means if you can't make it to my house for a lesson, then I can pack up the drums and come to yours. So, if this sounds like a good idea for either you or one of your children to pick up as a new hobby, then please don't hesitate. I look forward to helping you become a great drummer, established musician, and above all... an artist! Peace and blessings.

      About

After 17 years of playing percussion, I would now like to share my experiences and rhythmic knowledge to drummers of all ages and walks of life. I primarily teach drum set, as I have studied jazz at Valencia college and UCF. I have toured with many bands all over the country and have traveled to Rwanda, Africa; Nepal, and India in teaching music. Music is my life's passion, and I am able to teach at any level a student may be at. I will be teaching basic theory to advanced theory, all styles of music (ex. Rock, jazz, Latin, and pop), as well as a technique to improve endurance, control, and finesse.

I teach my students the basics of music, and as they progress in this they are gradually introduced to what it means to feel out the music. Ex: why this note or chord sounds better and laying that out for them to explore. Which they do, happily as music and the learning thereof is a wonderful journey.
