To whom it may concern, I have known Federica for over 3 years. Federica tutored me in Italian and was invaluable to my understanding of the grammar, and culture. As an American living in Italy, it was very difficult to communicate with the locals before I learned Italian. After being tutored by Federica, I was able to converse, order food, and run daily errands around town with ease. She was always friendly, hard working, professional, and well prepared in our lessons. In my Italian courses, the grammar sometimes could seem complicated and tedious. But in my tutoring sessions with Federica, she made it more fun, and would break it down so I could better understand. Federica was such a wonderful tutor during the time we met before my big trip to Italy. She provided written material for me to practice with her and on my own and she answered many questions and gave me insider advice and cultural tips on getting around and talking to Italians. She also did extra research for me outside of our meetings. I am so glad I found her and hope to practice my Italian and work with her again. Thanks a bunch, Federica!

Fedi was wonderful. She is caring and creative with her approach to learning. She was my Italian tutor. She always knew how to keep things interesting. We would touch on the normal aspects of language, like grammar, for example. But she would also bring in articles from magazines to keep things interesting. We also worked in a group setting sometimes which helped push all of us to converse. I would highly recommend Fedi to everyone. I miss working with her and if we lived closer I would want to be working with Fedi!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually charge $30 per hour for lessons $25 per hour if it is just talking about culture and such It also depends on how far I need to drive your way.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to establish the learning goals up front with each student and tailored the program on the goals regarding time, abilities and needs. I am very committed to keeping my native language and culture alive and I am passionate about it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor Degree in Science of Communication and I thought Italian for few years privately and for a Summer School.
