Introduction: I have over 30 years of professional performance experience, and have worked in a wide variety of musical genres, including classical, rock, jazz, Christian, music theatre, folk, world, avant garde, and others. My combination of education and unique career experience enable me to help students with diverse backgrounds and goals. I am excited always to share my knowledge of music, and especially to support students who are passionate about music. I have worked with Scott for several years and have had great results. He has been my musical mentor. I started out working with Scott as a vocal instructor. He took me to new levels of success in my vocal performances. I also worked with Scott on choral arranging, solo vocal arranging, piano accompaniment and a variety of other music projects. Scott is personable, reliable and has an extraordinary range in his musical skills. He is skilled in a wide variety of muscial styles: American Standard, pop, blues, jazz, R & B, rock, classical and avant gard. I also experienced Scott's wonderful ability to work with a chorus. As our church music director, Scott was able to produce extraordinary results from our choir.

I'd gladly say it was a pleasure learning and growing musically from Dr. K. Scott Eggert. He's taught me everything I need to know from reading music to breathing methods in vocal lessons. Throughout all the years of working with coaches and instructors Mr. Eggerts efforts back in 2008-2009 has helped me grow, and mold me into the courageous artist I have become today. Thanks to his amazing vocal techniques and musical ability one could only be fortunate enough to work with him and his patience. He was always on time and very serious about teaching music lessons with great passion and dedication. Dr. K. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are reasonable and reflect the national average rates for such lessons. I start at $30 for a half hour, discount to $40 for 45 minutes, and discount to $50 for a full hour.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I spend time at the outset learning as much as I can about the tastes, prior training, and goals of a new student, so that I may tailor my lessons to their specific needs and skill set.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Music, an MA in Music Theory/Composition, and a DMA (Doctor of Musical Arts) in Music Composition. I have been a professional performing singer/pianist for over 30 years, playing both solo and with a variety of ensembles.
