Andrew Ross and his team recently installed tile flooring in our kitchen, laundry, foyer and two bathrooms. Andrew quickly responded to our request for an estimate, and worked with us to meet our HOA's requirements for installation. His crew was prompt and worked diligently to complete the project in a timely manner. Andrew communicated with us throughout to make sure we knew the timeline for the project and what to expect each day. We couldn't be happier with the final result. We highly recommend Brothers Ross and will be enlisting their services for future projects. A+

We hired Onnie and Janna to install two ceiling fans. They were responsive and flexible when scheduling, and worked quickly to get the job done. They were very pleasant to work with, and we would most definitely use them again.

The crew was personable and focused - we had a long list of repair that needed to be done, ranging from ceiling repair to painting to door frame repair. Steve bent over backwards to get the work done on time and was willing and able to pick up a couple of unexpected additions at very competitive prices. We were very happy with what was done and the manner in which it was done.

We initially hired Mark to do some some minor interior work on the upstairs unit of a duplex that we purchased for a rental. After evaluating the original project further, he made us aware of a lot of work the previous owner had done that was not done to code and in fact posed safety problems. We gained a great deal of confidence in Mark's work and opinions and in the end, we hired him to completely redo most of the upstairs and all of the downstairs unit. He took the spaces down to the studs, created new walls, installed an extensive fire and sound barrier between the two units, installed all new sheetrock, completely replaced all electrical, plumbing, HVAC, windows, doors. He laid tile in the bathrooms and helped design and install new kitchens. In addition, he installed all new flooring in both units including woodwork, trim and painted the entire space. On the outside, he did minor landscaping, laid a gravel driveway and subsequent walkway to the lower unit, and completely rebuilt a two story deck off the back of both units thereby increasing the outdoor living space for our future tenants. The decks alone were a feat of engineering - this was not just my opinion but the opinion of the building inspector. Through all of it, Mark was a pleasure to work with and always sensitive to our ever growing budget as we made change after change. He allowed us to be involved as much or as little as we wanted in order to safe money on the project. He even came up with a clever way of creating a laundry unit in both units which greatly increased the appeal of both units. It might bear mentioning that both units rented right away after all the work was completed and we have had no complaints from our new tenants. We have 100% confidence in the work that he does and have recently hired him to do some remodeling on our own home. I don't think there is anything that he and his crew cannot do to the highest professional standard.

Steven worked on several small projects at my house, including drywall/ceiling repairs and light/ceiling fan installations. He showed up on time and did an excellent job, no complaints whatsoever. He's obviously very knowledgeable and versatile, and his hourly rates are reasonable. Personally, I found him to be friendly and professional, and appreciated his availability on short notice. Great experience, highly recommended.

In 2013, David Ackerman Building Solutions provided general residential contracting services to us for an $80,000 major renovation of a fourteen year old, 3,000 SF home in Cleveland SC. The construction was done in phases over nine months to allow us to continue to live in the house while work was done. David was flexible in working with us on this unusual schedule, and considerate in conducting the work and scheduling subcontractors with minimum interference. The scope of work included interior demolition, a new zoned HVAC system, rewiring the entire house, new electrical panels, new standby electrical generator, construction of a new kitchen and master bath/dressing room, reconfiguration of spaces for an enlarged master bedroom, guest bedroom and laundry/utility room. Work included interior finishes and trim, lighting upgrades, plumbing upgrades, new skylights and exterior deck improvements. We contracted with David for a lump sum amount negotiated on the basis of detailed cost estimates and sub bids. He demonstrated the ability to work within the budget and maintain accurate accounting. Owner directed changes or increases (and decreases) in scope were negotiated fairly and reasonably, and stayed within our budget contingency amount. The quality of David's work is outstanding. He is skilled in general construction of all types and also in electrical work. We were especially pleased with his attention to detail and getting things right. He selected and managed qualified electrical, mechanical and plumbing subcontractors on the project. He monitored their work closely and worked well with them to ensure a high level of quality. We dealt only with him and he managed the subs. Although it did not affect our project outcome, the only recommendation we have is that David expand his project management documentation system for greater detail. While he kept a good weekly record of work and costs, a more detailed summary of total work and costs, showing exact levels of completion, would have saved us some administrative time. Throughout the course of the project, David routinely focused on making sure we were satisfied. He is skilled, capable and honest and we highly recommend him.

Kurt was contracted to transform a 1300 sq ft unfinished basement into an apartment. This was a complete build out that included a large bedroom, walk-in closet, full bath, great room, kitchenette and storage closets. Kurt was prompt, courteous and had excellent attention-to-detail stills. He coordinated electrical, plumbing, dry wall, ceiling and floor installation. He was on the job working side-by-side with carpenters and always there to give direction and to confer when needed. I highly recommend Kurt when considering any home improvement or building related need.

Paul, did a fantastic job. He rebuilt a two story porch for me that was having structural issue based on poor workmanship from the original builder. I found Tricob to be very conscious and his work was excellent. Paul provided different options on flooring and ceiling considerations and helped me make an informed decision on materials based on my needs. If you are looking for an honest craftsman give him a try!

Greenkind Builders transformed my 70-year-old front porch into a friendly room that has become our favorite place to hang out! I especially love the crafted built-in daybed with huge storage drawers that pull out and the decorative sunburst trim at the base of the ceiling fan! We looked for many of the building components in salvage stores to keep costs down. The Greenkind team does high-quality work. They made good suggestions and offered creative options as the project progressed.
