- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer 100% refunds if a session is canceled at least 24 hours in advance. Clients who purchase three or more private or semi-private (small group) sessions get a 20% discount.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I talk with the client by phone or, if preferred email, FaceTime, or Skype, to determine their needs and goals. From there, we develop a plan together for their session(s).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm registered with the Yoga Alliance at the E-RYT 200 level (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher), meaning I have completed more than 230 hours of training with a YA-registered yoga school and taught for at least two years and more than 1000 hours. (I have exceeded all of these requirements, having completed 400+ hours of trainings and 2500 hours teaching.) I'm always doing continuing education, including specialty trainings in yin yoga, kids yoga, and Vedanta (yoga philosophy). My advanced training includes Sage Rountree's 40-hour Teaching Yoga to Athletes intensive and 40-hour Sequencing Yoga Classes from Welcome to Namaste intensive, both at Carolina Yoga Company.
