- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I am located in Cary, NC. Since I travel across North Carolina to deliver services, here are the rates for travel: 0-20 minutes: no fee applies 20-30 minutes: $10 30-60 minutes: $40 60+ minutes: $60
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After initial contact via Thumbtack, I found it easiest to speak over the phone to learn more about the customer's situation and if my services match their needs. If so, then we coordinate a time. Proceeding the phone call, I will send the customer a follow-up summary that lays out the information we covered, location, cost, etc. so that the customer is prepared for our first meeting. As always, I am here to answer any questions. After our first meeting, the customer has the option to schedule a follow up. This is a great opportunity for the customer to practice what was previously covered, follow up with any questions the customer may have, receive constructive criticism, advance training, and learn new materials.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
To let you know a little more about me, I have been dog training for over 2 years. I have worked with over 150 dogs and their familes, ranging from ages 8 weeks to 13 years and breeds such as chihuahuas, shih tzus, dauchends, and jack russells to great danes, blue tick hounds, cane corsos, and rottweilers. My experience is grounded in therapy training. The families seeking my services typically include aspiring to have therapy certified dogs, advancing their dog's general obedience or other problematic behavior, or simply wanting a pleasant experience when taking their dog into public. These teachings include techniques to have your dog walk by your side, be calm around other people/dogs, and other skills (sit, stay, come when called, etc.).
