- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been designing since I was eight years old. I was constantly redecorating and rearranging my room and I knew it was what I was meant to do. People ask me all the time what I would do if I werent a designer, and honestly I cannot give them a straight forward answer, because I feel this is what I was meant to do!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If you are looking for an interior designer, make sure you have some kind of idea of a budget, you choose an interior designer that can represent your style in a space, and an interior designer that you get along with on a personal level.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I grew up in a 1916 Craftsman style home, I have stripped, sanded, and renovated almost every room in this house with my parents. I know what quality work is and I know how to execute it, so I know what to look for in contractors. I have a vast knowledge of historical renovation and I hope that my experience makes me stick out from the crowd. I get my hands dirty for perfection!
