He is helping to write lyrics and produce music for an education project called iEdapts. He is head and shoulders above other producers that I have worked with in the past from this industry. It has been a wonderful experience and he’s a truly amazing and gifted producer!!!! Not to mention a quality person.
John is an excellent guitar and music teacher! He has been teacher our daughter for over a year now and she absolutely loves him. He is patient, caring, has fun while teaching, and knows how to tap into her strengths.
James Harden might be the most interesting man I've ever met. I took a year off from high school (after 10th grade) to study music under James' instruction and while I didn't know it then, the kind of education I received was unlike any other you could ever ask for. There are lots of music teachers out there, but few have something to offer besides the typical musical instruction. The key to being a successful musician is not in the notes you play or sing, but in the attitude you take towards creativity and feeling, and that's what you learn to explore at Music People Studios, your own inner self. It is years later and little things I've heard and remember are just now starting to click into place in my mind. James is a very gifted teacher and producer, and is a great resource with an extensive, professional recording studio and tools to help aspiring musicians find and/or further their creative dreams. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend James Harden and Abraxas Productions to any musician out there!
I hadn't even heard of Thumbtack 2 months ago, but so glad I found it and it led us to Childers Music Studio! There's no doubt we made the right choice in choosing Brian to teach our son. He is patient and honest, fun and just the right amount of challenge ! I've noticed a difference already in my sons self-confidence! And the home studio is welcoming, and a perfect backdrop for the learning environment ! Highly recommend Childers!
If your interested in learning voice, I have found that there is no better teacher out there than Robert Wendall. He teaches you to fully understand what you are doing and how to fix problems that may occur. He studied with the best in the business and it comes out in his classes. He truly is amazing at what he does. There are many other voice teachers out there that teach all kinds of instruments and throw in voice because they thought they would cover the spectrum when it comes to teaching. These kinds of teachers can show you a few tricks of the trade, take your money and in the end you don't truly understand the mechanism that is the voice. Don't waste time and money on people who 'really' don't understand what Robert does. Robert's focus is being a specialist in voice training, that's it. I'm thrilled that I've finally found the right teacher for me. Stuart
He is much better than former teacher 15-20 years ago. He is patient and I very much like the Suzuki method that he uses. I can sincerely recommend him to anyone. And I am 64 years old, so it's a little harder for me than a younger person. I do play other stringed instruments but they all have frets, which is quite different!
For a seasoned pro like myself, to still be looking for a teacher to challenge me, Mike delivers. And yet, he can still teach my 5yr old son the basics. One of the best drum teachers, and all around nicest guy, you will ever find.
Willing to teach current music that I pick.
We hired Charles to try and help our 8 year old get into piano. He was very welcoming and an excellent piano teacher.
I’ve played guitar for a lot of years but never learned any theory and just stalled somewhere close to intermediate level. Jeff listened to me play, asked what my goals were and we started. I’ve learned so much in the last 6 months and my skill and understanding have taken a big leap. He’s a great teacher, not too pushy and willing to adjust to your wants as you go along. He’s an excellent guitarist and passionate about it. I’d recommend him for anyone from beginner to an accomplished player.
Clayton provided in home guitar lessons. He was punctual for each lesson but also flexible to accommodate my schedule. He had a clear plan for each lesson. Anyone wanting to learn the guitar would benefit from his instruction.
My daughter kept insisting on taking piano classes and I didn't know anybody. So then I google piano teachers in my area and Thumback found Mes. Moore for me. At the time my daughter didn't have a piano or keyboard and I really appreciated tha Mrs. Moore let us borrow a keyboard until we were able to get one. Now my daughter has a piano and she can't stop playing it. She really enjoys coming to Mrs. Moore's class and how she encourages her student to practice and in turn they get "bucks" and as she earns Moore she is able to buy things in Mrs. Moore's Store. My daughter has really advance and is able to read music. I am very happy and satisfied with Mrs. Moore and the whole experience. Finally my daughter also looks forward to the recitals Mes. Moore has twice a year for the kids and even though my daughter is a little on the shy side, she was so proud to get in front of everybody and play her music.
As an older, somewhat established player, my needs from a teacher are a little different in my mind and Brandon senses that and knows the direction I want to go into become more accomplished at guitar. He has challenged me and helped me to meet those challenges. He also alway gives me more than I can do in between each lesson which always keeps me going and let's me know where I'm heading. He also always teaches me something fun to play to go along with the repetitious things. I would highly recommend him to any student regardless of playing level.
I've been a customer of Charlotte Academy of Musuc since it's inception, and I cannot imagine a more positive place for music instrucion for more children! They have all progressed impressively and there are many opportunities for performance In addition, the teachers are talented, fun, creative and patient, and the facility is gorgeous! It's just at the best!
Great Music Lessons
I've been playing a long time, but really need to increase my theory knowledge in a practical way. After one lesson, it's clear Sean is able to tailor his teaching to the needs of the student. Exactly what I was looking for, and I'm looking forward to the challenge!
I am a violin teacher for ages 4-12. I teach Suzuki style with lots of extra songs like folk tunes, hymns, classical, and fiddle. I love teaching kids, and being able to help them learn. I play lots of games that help memory, and are also fun to do! Lessons are a half-hour long. I am a freelance video editor as well. In 2013 I graduated with a degree in Film Studies from Southeaster University. If you are interested in having a project you have filmed put together in a clear and concise way, definitely contact me!
I offer private piano lessons for students of all ages. My lessons are very traditional, and I teach classical piano literature, popular music, and church music. I try to impart to the student a basic knowledge of music reading, music theory, and a bit of music history. I have produced successful musicians for 50 years who are now located all over the U.S., as well as in other countries of the world. Note that lessons are 30 minutes or 45 minutes in length.
I have been playing guitar for about 7 years now; the other two instructors have been playing for relatively the same time. Come to my practice space in the heart of NoDa, or I can come to you. Lessons move at your pace, with a unique and personalized curriculum designed just for you to help you meet your goals in a way that's right for you.
