I’ve been training with Carlos for a little over 7 months now. Repeat sessions, and for good reason. He’s top tier. Professional, knowledgeable, agile, a GREAT communicator, coach, mentor, and incredibly supportive. He keeps detailed notes and really pays attention. Why else would I keep putting myself through these workouts? His keen attention to form helped fine-tune and improve exercises I’ve done for years. I feel better, look better, and have WAY more confidence in the gym. I’m also a lot more disciplined than I was when we first started. Honestly, I don’t think I would have gotten to this point without Carlos pushing me! The workouts were challenging, but worth it. And let’s be real, I was probably more challenging than the workouts. I’m sure I danced on Carlos’s nerves with my complaining, but he handled it like a champ and still got me through every session. Would I do it again? Absolutely. Carlos knows what he’s doing and how to get results. You’ll benefit from his years of experience helping people reach their goals. He may be fairly new to Charlotte, but with his knowledge, skills, and ability, I see him being fully booked in no time. If you’re thinking about working with him, go ahead and do it now. He’s a good dude for real.

Workouts are specifically tailored to my values and goals. I get the special attention I need to stay focused, based on his expertise. The exercises change with my progress so I never get bored. Coaching style includes a calm and steady tone accompanied by a nonjudgmental attitude, which really fits well with my motivational style. Most importantly, this personal trainer really pushes me to take things to the next level in a way that I wouldn’t be able to figure out on my own, and I really value his consistent intention to make me stronger.

My rates vary based on the type of services I'm hired for. Personal Training: $85/session or Discounted Rate Available for Package Options (6, 12, 24 Sessions) Nutrition: $65/Nutrition Consultation $90 for Meal/Nutrition/Fitness Program Personal Training & Nutrition: Rates vary based on location & frequency of training sessions.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially going through a (Par-Q)Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire to get a clearer indication of any and all medical, recreational, work history. After the Par-Q I then proceed to performing an assessment to find out any muscular imbalances, deficiencies, postural distortions, and weaknesses that the individual may be experiencing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years of experience as a trainer and as a Fitness Manager for several companies. Nationally Certified with National Academy of Sports Medicine, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Sport & Exercise Nutritionist, TriggerPoint Therapy, Pre/Post Natal, CPR & AED.
