Miss Lisa is fantastic. I took my 10 year old for her first voice lesson. Miss Lisa was able to show her how to use her voice. My daughter LOVES to sing so I was very excited to find someone that my daughter could connect with. Miss Lisa made her feel comfortable, she was patient, she was fun, she is just the right amount of everything my daughter needed. So happy we found her and get to continue taking lessons with her.Oct 23, 2019Verified
Amazing lady! She can read and understand the individual. She can get to the core of the person, to get everything and all drawn out each session. I absolutely love her and can not speak/sing enough praise!!!!Jan 26, 2019Verified

I highly recommend Palm Beach Performing Arts Studio and Lisa Merril Glassman. Lisa is my vocal and acting coach and she helped me prepare to perform in singing and acting showcases at (AMTC)Actors, Models and Talent for Christ's Shine event this summer in Orlando, FL. Lisa is a seasoned music and drama professional and a superb teacher and coach. Bev Barbra, singer, model, actress.Aug 12, 2015Curtain Call Studios's reply
Bev, you have been a pleasure to teach! I especially enjoyed helping you prepare for your big audition. You are so talented and so proud of your accomplishments on landing, not 1, but 2 agent contracts, as well as being booked on infomercials, TV, etc. I know this is only the beginning of great things in store.
Ms. Lisa has been great! She evaluated my voice and showed me the things I needed to work on. I’m excited to progress with her!Sep 20, 2019Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Voice Lessons: New customers receive a 30 minute lesson, FREE! Within the very first lesson, student(s) are introduced to how the anatomy of the voice/vocal chords work, the importance of proper breath support, placement of voice and much more. Each new student receives a vocal evaluation on their very first lesson, which includes range, accuracy of pitch, breath support and control, placement of voice, as well as vocal health. Ms. Lisa will share the student's strengths, weaknesses and what she will do to help improve their vocal capabilities. The lesson typically culminates with a musical selection of their choice. Acting Lessons: New customers receive a 30 minute lesson, FREE! Within the first lesson, student(s) will be introduced to a myriad of relaxation and acting exercises/techniques that will be covered in the course of study. A notebook is required, as Ms. Lisa teaches different acting techniques each week, exercises are given accordingly and then the lesson typically culminates with a dramatic piece such as a monologue or scene. Audition Preparation: This session focuses on helping the student to be 'performance ready' and nail the audition. Whether the student is singing or acting or performing a musical theater piece, Ms. Lisa helps guide the student by offering suggestions that will improve overall performance, build confidence, which increases the student's chance of winning the audition!
