FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A typical home inspection in the greater CLT area tends to be $425-$600, with a full-service inspection (radon+water+termite+sewer) being about $1000-$1200. We travel up to 2 hours outside our service area for an additional travel fee of between $35-$75. Thumbtack estimates are BASE COSTS ONLY and do not take into account foundation type, age, or travel time. Please consider the following guidelines prior to submitting a request. Additional fees apply for basements ($60) and crawlspaces ($85), and final price could fluctuate based on age of home ($10 per decade) and location in relation to our Concord, NC office. Remodels are priced according to their original age. Additional fees for luxury homes ($1M+) and historic homes also apply due to increased time, detail, risk, and additional services needed for those properties.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Phone or video call prior to the inspection to go over the process. Every customer gets a full debriefing following the inspection. When our client is the home buyer, we communicate heavily with their real estate agent so the due diligence process runs as smoothly as possible.
