Casey is a very kind and loving person. I’ve been in both her yoga and self-care classes. She is very well prepared, attentive to participant’s needs, and a calm and peaceful teacher. Casey truly cares about offering meaningful experiences. I love going to everything she offers! She’s helped me personally in developing a yoga practice for self-care and self-love ~ and I highly recommend all her offerings!

Amelia is an extremely knowledgeable teacher who, over the past year has opened up the world of yoga to me. As a novice Amelia has helped me immensely with my own practice and once I heard she was holding private lessons I was ecstatic. She was able to work around my weird work schedule as well meet me where I wanted to practice. I could not recommend her enough for private lessons as she has afforded me growth not only in my personal practice but also mentally. Amelia also just recently began leading meditations that, again, have helped me out personally so much. She’s knowledgeable, her cues are simple to understand and she has an ability to read the student and to help them with their needs in the studio. Take privates with this young bright and fun woman; you will not regret it!

About

The word "yoga" translated from Sanskrit means "to yolk". The primary goal of yoga is to bring together the mind, body and spirit. Yoga helps in many ways with strength and flexibility, coping mechanisms through breath and a feeling of being part of a whole. I teach all levels of vinyasa (flow, holding poses for three-five breaths.) This style of yoga combines movement with breath to maximize its benefits, combining strength, flexibility and balance. Whether you are looking to gain strength and flexibility or simply want to get active in a low-impact, I am here to help! I can do private or group lessons for adults and children.

About

Over my 9 years of teaching private yoga, I have worked with all kinds of students, from absolute beginners to the very advanced. Because of my training and experience in teaching alignment-based, therapeutic yoga, I am sought out by folks who have very specific, sometimes serious medical concerns and need a yoga practice that can be safely tailored to their needs. I've also worked with serious athletes - college athletes, racecar drivers - at the top of their games. I believe that yoga does not have to be mysterious or in any way elitist -- I love to make people feel at ease while crafting a practice that is just right for them. I am here for YOU. If it's more challenge you want, you will get it, safely, while learning wise alignment techniques that help you in everything you do in daily life. If you need help managing stress, you will find, like one of my clients told me, that yoga with me "gives therapy a run for its money!" If you are brand-new, you will be welcomed and taught at your level and your pace, safely. If you have medical issues, let's talk! I've worked with folks recovering from chemo and radiation, knee surgeries, herniated disks, rheumatic conditions, hiatal hernias, neck issues causing dizziness, anxiety, hip pain ... the list goes on. You CAN do yoga. I can help.
